Our home is located in a rural lake. Though we use the highest-end available treatments possible to keep out pests including insects and mice, the presence of wildlife is a reality of nature. Our space may not be a fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife.
Acts of government and nature: Owner shall not be liable for events beyond their control which may interfere with Guest occupancy or use of lake, including but not limited to inclement weather, drought and low water conditions, algae blooms, fire, strikes, government acts, SARS-CoV-2, or other epidemic or pandemic. In these cases, NO rebate or refund will be offered beyond the usually specified cancellation policy in this listing.

Booking Terms
*Must be 25 years of age or older to rent this property *Kayak & floats may be used at your own risk (owners will not be responsible nor liable for anything that may occur while tenants are utilizing) *Return the thermostat to 72 in summer months and 65 in winter months. *Do not open windows & keep doors closed when not using *Umbrellas and Awning must be rolled in or down at the end of each day to keep them from being damaged by wind & storms. *All chairs must be stacked and secured on dock at the end of each day so they do not blow into the lake. *No eating meals on sofas *Dishes must be washed & put away in its proper location (all cabinets & drawers are labeled) *Return anything that has been moved back to its proper location *Grilled must be cleaned & covered after each use and propane shut off *Wipe down surfaces and pick up food that has fallen on the decks or porches to help prevent ants & bugs *When you vacate the property please place all linens and towels in the bags provided by the linen service and leave them near the front door. The linen company will charge a $50 fee if items are missing or not placed in bags. *All trash must be secured in bags and placed in the wheely bins located in front of the garage. Trash is hand collected and will charge an additional fee if there is loose trash in the bin. *Our home is located in a heavily wooded area, we have a pest company treat our home and property regularly but you will see insects. No refund will be provided for insect sitings.
